Abstract
The article attempts to analyze the impact of the technological breakthrough inherent in the metamodern situation on the development of theatrical culture. The role and importance of Internet resources in the process of embodying theatrical art within the stage space is revealed. Various aspects of innovative technologies in the field of theatrical art, their influence on the process of formation of creative content in accordance with the principles of metamodern are considered. The analysis of the transformation of theatrical activity is carried out, in the process of popularization of neural networks and artificial intelligence, the principle of "pendularity", vividly characterizing modern theatrical culture, is revealed. The transformations of the role of the director, artist, playwright in the conditions of the formation of a new cultural era are outlined.
