Abstract
The present research aims to identify the impact of the strategy of cognitive aesthetics in the acquisition of rhetorical concepts and the development of aesthetic taste among fifth grade pupils. The sample consisted of (66) students distributed in two groups, experimental group (34) students and (32) students as a controlling group . the researcher used two instruments, the first instrument test the acquisition of rhetorical concept and the second instrument test the aesthetic taste which checked for reliability and validity. After the experiment was completed, the tools were applied to the research sample. When analyzing the data obtained using t-test, the results showed that the experimental group was better than the experimental group. The researcher presented a number of recommendations, including the need to teach rhetoric and application using the strategy of cognitive aesthetics as it facilitates acquiring the concepts of rhetoric and develop their aesthetic taste. Also the researcher proposed to study the impact of the aesthetics knowledge strategy in the acquisition of rhetorical concepts and the development of aesthetic taste among students of the literary fifth grade.
