Abstract
The article deals with the content of aesthetic education in children of primary school. The authors studied various forms of extra-curricular activities, the conditions and ways of developing students' aesthetic tastes, also the concept of culture of the child, which is the foundation on which his spiritual and moral life is built. An important element is the presence of happiness and self-affirmation of the child in the world – it is a life pleasure and a sense of joy of life, since the development of the aesthetic sphere of consciousness affects other feelings and attitudes, increases emotional sensitivity to all phenomena of life.
