Abstract

The paper has investigated extraction of nitrate ions from aqueous solutions by a OPMN-P membrane in the presence of low-molecular amines of guanidine and urotropine. It showed the impact of the pH and the concentration of nitrate ions on this process. It has been found that the presence in the solution of guanidine results in a decrease of the degree of retention of nitrates by the membrane two- or threefold compared with the solutions not containing this amine, while the presence of urotropine in the neutral and acid regions of the pH in the equimolar ratio to nitrate ions makes it possible to raise the retention degree of the latter by 10%.
