Abstract

Purpose It has been confirmed that logistics 4.0 technology is contributing to increase efficiency and productivity, such as improving logistics services and reducing logistics costs. However, since the effect of logistics 4.0 technology on job commitment, job satisfaction, and job performance has not been verified, it is necessary to confirm these. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on job commitment and job satisfaction, and the effect of job commitment and job satisfaction on job performance in logistics companies. Design/Methodology/Approach Based on existing studies related to logistics 4.0 technology, job commitment, job satisfaction, and job performance, a research model and research hypotheses were established, and factor measurement questions were developed. In addition, a survey was conducted on workers in logistics companies. SPSS 25.0 was used for survey analysis, and frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were performed. Findings As a result of analysis, it was confirmed that the perceived usefulness of logistics 4.0 technology did not significantly affect job commitment, but did significantly affect job satisfaction, and the perceived ease of use of logistics 4.0 technology had a meaningful effect on job commitment and job satisfaction. In addition, both job commitment and job satisfaction were found to have a significant effect on job performance. Research Implications Logistics companies need to improve the usefulness and ease of use of logistics 4.0 technology for job satisfaction, and ultimately improve job satisfaction by improving the productivity and efficiency of logistics work.
