Abstract

Our study focuses on the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) on interpersonal relationships within the educational context, particularly between teachers and learners. In the era of the digital revolution, we explore how these technologies alter the quality of these relationships, which can be both beneficial (encouraging mutual assistance, empathy, and motivation) and problematic (risks of cyber-violence and harassment). Utilizing a mixedmethodology approach, combining semi-structured interviews with secondary school teachers and an online questionnaire for high school students in Agadir, our research aims to assess the extent to which ICT influences these interpersonal dynamics. The findings suggest that, despite the challenges, social networks and other digital platforms can enhance teacherlearner relationships through positive interactions, while highlighting the need to navigate cautiously in the face of negative aspects
