Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the provision of reward and punishment on the performance of employees at the Toyota Kalla Makassar Gowa Unit. The population in this study were all employees at the Toyota Kalla Makassar Gowa Unit, namely 47 people. The sampling technique used is a census sampling technique, where all members of the population are used as samples. The data source used is primary data, namely data collected directly by researchers from respondents using a questionnaire instrument. The method of data analysis that will be carried out consists of descriptive statistical analysis, validity test, reliability test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, and hypothesis testing through multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, f test and t test. The results of this study indicate that reward and punishment have a positive effect and make a real contribution to employee performance at the Toyta Kalla Makassar Gowa Unit. The most influential variable in this study is reward because it can be seen from the regression coefficient value of 0.382 while punishment is only worth 0.326.
