Abstract

Freedom of the press covers the field of written, oral, and visual media, generally recognized as freedom of the press, which includes the right of the individual to express his views and opinions through publications such as newspapers, books, magazines, pamphlets, and advertisements, without pre-publication or publication. On top.Here, the researchers explore the pressures, security, legal, political, social, economic, and professional barriers that hinder journalists in the Kurdistan Region and the journalism profession in the Kurdistan Region. This study is considered to be a descriptive study that used a survey method to gain the opinion of journalists in the Kurdistan Region on the impact of press freedom on the journalism profession in the Kurdistan Region. The research community includes journalists from the Kurdistan Region, the sample of which represents the research community, and consists of (50) journalists from various newspapers, television, radio, and electronic sites, and through the media and the Chinese media.
