Abstract

Modern scholars have been concerned with the transformative impact that film has had on society and culture since the late 20th century. The Hollywood film industry in the United States has received particular attention from studies related to the social sciences. In order to make sense of modern movie industrial production, people who study this topic need to be able to investigate and criticise it by its cultural impact. This study explores at the numerous ways in which films have the potential to influence the cultural norms that already exist in a community. In particular, it examines the substantial impact that film can have not only on cultural identities but also on values, beliefs, and social norms. This impact is not limited to cultural identities, however. In this study, the instance of Sound of Freedom is used to demonstrate how violent effect and politicised content are interacting with one another to develop the goals and aspirations of the younger generation to build civic society. The goals and aspirations of the younger generation are the subject of this study, which focuses on how these two trends are shaping the younger generation. To be more explicit, the focus of the study is on how these two components influence one another as well as how each component influences the others.
