Abstract

In this paper we will go first through a general M&A framework followed by more detailed theories concerning organizational cultures. The merger and acquisition context (different types, methods and the classification of mergers and acquisitions and the motivations of their emergence). Therefore, I will analyze the literature about corporate culture in M&A. I will define the concept of corporate culture and national culture, and their correlation. I will point up the acculturation model, its stages, and the leadership role in integration process in M&A.
