Abstract

Purpose Contact lens-related infection and inflammation is thought to be related to the aggregation of bacteria between the contact lens and the corneal surface during wear. In this clinical study, fluorescent polystyrene microspheres were utilised to compare the particulate clearance rate with and without contact lens wear.
