Abstract
Community empowerment is a process to encourage people to be able to position themselves proportionally and become the main actors in utilizing the strategic environment in achieving long-term goals. PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Lhokseumawe has a community empowerment program in the form of the biofloc catfish program. This program has been implemented since 2021 and is aimed at the people of Hagu Tengah Village, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely analyzing the impact of the biofloc catfish program that has been implemented in Hagu Tengah Village. The impact is the impact from the individual side, such as a sense of responsibility, perseverance and also increased social interaction. Impact from a group perspective in responding to community needs. such as increasing people's income, the need for work, and the need for social interaction. In addition, the Biofloc Catfish Cultivation Program also helps overcome social problems in society, such as the problem of underprivileged people and the problem of unemployment.
