Abstract
In this paper transformer rectifier units with magnetic cores made from amorphous steel are investigated. The features of the use of amorphous alloys are shown and their comparative analysis is carried out. Calculations of two types of transformer rectifier units with a magnetic core made from various amorphous steels are made. According to the results of calculations experimental samples are made. Computer simulation of electromagnetic processes and computer modeling of thermal processes of transformer rectifier units with a magnetic core made of amorphous steel have been made. An experimental study of the designed samples was carried out.
