Abstract

In manufacturing companies, artificial intelligence (AI) applications like robotics, automation, and intelligent support are driving a broad transformation process that impacts not only the usage of algorithms but also people and organization. The working world will undergo a long-lasting transformation due to automation and algorithmization, whereby every value-adding activities will be impacted, ranging from skilled labour and management to operational manufacturing operations.
