Abstract
The IEEE Technology Management Council (TMC) provides information and services to a worldwide audience of practitioners and researchers engaged in the profession of engineering, technology, and innovation management. TMC directly serves members of IEEE who are technology and management leaders within their fields, and are interested in pursuing excellence in the management of innovation, business, and entrepreneurship. TMC has 14 member societies that contribute material support, as well as representatives, to the TMC Board of Governors so that the TMC can best provide the needs of the societies' members. The author is the current EMC Society representative to the TMC.
