Abstract
The article deals with the subject of building maintenance in terms of their reliability by ensuring proper technical condition. The basic strategies of building maintenance with characteristics of the frequency of using the strategy were presented. Reactive strategies have been found to be common, which can lead to excessive maintenance costs and technical problems. In this context, predictive maintenance and basic barriers to the implementation of this strategy were indicated. As an alternative to the full sensory infrastructure, it was proposed to use data on the technical condition of buildings contained in text documents. The article presents the algorithm of proceeding and CBR reasoning as a possibility to support technical management in predictive maintenance of buildings.
