Abstract

The history of medical simulation dates back many millennia and is inextricably linked with the development of medical knowledge, scientific and technological progress and military orders. Thus, the success of the chemical industry led to the emergence of plastic mannequins, the progress of computer technology determined the creation of virtual simulators and patient simulators. Purpose of the study. Describe the historical stages of the formation of simulation training of medical students. Research methodology. The article uses descriptive, bibliosemantic and historical-comparative methods. Discussion of the research results. The article reflects the history of the development of stimulation training in the world and, in particular, in Ukraine, the modern approach and the relevance of introducing simulation training in medical universities. The formation and structure of the educational and practical center for simulation training, its role in the assimilation of knowledge and skills in the training of medical specialists is shown. Conclusions. Simulation training allows you to increase the digestibility of educational material, the quality and effectiveness of the educational process, makes it possible not only to see and hear, but also to work on a mannequin, and helps to motivate students to learn
