Abstract

Thirty pigs reared parasite free were infected when 3 to 6 weeks of age by stomach tube with 30,000 to 100,000 3rd stage Oesophagostomum dentatum larvae. The histopathological changes induced by the migrating larvae are described and the importance of natural infections is discussed.
