Abstract
The work is devoted to the study of the activity of enzymes of the antioxidant defense system in the blood of cattle from infested trematodes performed. Investigations were carried out in one of the farms of the Voronezh region in 10 cows of Simmental breeds infested with trematodes, and 10 cows are clinically healthy. The authors found that the antioxidant activity of enzymes of blood cows at trematodosis invasion is characterized by the increasing of the content of ceruloplasmin and catalase activity, a decrease in the activity of peroxidases and superoxide dismutase. The use of initiation of an antiparasitic in combination with immunomodulators increases the activity of enzymes antioxidant protection of the blood system of cattle. Effective control of trematode imagopulation is achieved by administering anthelmintic drugs to host animals (de-worming). Treatment of animals with trematodes not only frees the host from the pathogen but also prevents further dispersion of helminth eggs in the external environment. Where there is a population of trematodes, prophylactic deworming is carried out twice a year. Thus, the control of the functional state of the enzyme antioxidant defense system has a diagnostic value over the state of the metabolic status of animals and is effective in treating trematodosal invasion.
