Abstract
Abstract Due to the complexity of the emergency diesel generator (EDG) system in nuclear power plants and the lack of detailed equipment-level health status assessment models, this article introduces a deterioration-based system health status assessment method. Taking the large and complex EDG system as a pilot, the method combines monitoring data and maintenance information of the EDG to achieve dynamic assessment of the health status of the EDG system at the equipment level. This provides guidance for predicting and repairing faults of EDGs in nuclear power plants. Additionally, this method can be extended to other large and complex systems.
