Abstract
SYNOPSIS The last decade has seen the development of various systems of full-tree harvesting in the developed forestry countries of the world to augment their dwindling wood fibre resources. The state of development of this process is discussed as well as the various methods and systems that have been evolved, and their suitability in the varying Circumstances that are encountered in the forests.
