Abstract

The author's aims were twofold: to compare the clinical effectiveness of the technique under investigation with conventional methods of managing carious primary molar teeth; to compare the acceptability of the Hall technique to patients, their carers and the treating clinician compared with more traditional restorative techniques. The study took the form of a randomized controlled clinical trial set in general dental practice in Tayside, Scotland.
