Abstract

The article develops the M. M. Bakhtin’s idea of guiding values, which determine both personal and collective axiological choice. The object of analysis is statements that reflect the value preferences of the Russians during the coronavirus pandemic, extracted from media texts, as well as conversational dialogues and polylogues. The author suggests the interpretation of the axiologemes nominating the guiding values and distinguishes the factors of the axiological lexicon activization.
