Abstract
Abstract—In this study, the effects of some greenhouse gases, which significantly affect the intensity of light falling on the solar panel, on the efficiency of photovoltaic solar panels were investigated experimentally. In the designed experimental system, a gas cell that can be equivalent to the greenhouse effect of gases was made and placed on the panel without any gaps. This gas cell was filled with various greenhouse gases at a certain pressure independently and then exposed to the sun. After thermal stability was achieved, the time-dependent current-voltage values of the panel for each gas type were measured and power graphics were created by the calculation method and interpreted comparatively. As a result of the study, it was seen that some greenhouse gases have significant effects on the efficiency of solar panels.
