Abstract
The main landform features of Jordan are considered: elevated plains with step-like topography, ramp (scarp) of the eastern wall of the graben of the Dead Sea and of the Jordan river valley, and the shore area of the Dead Sea with its salt morphostructure. Jordan's relief is compared with the western coast of the Red Sea and with the Western Ghats of the Indostanic Peninsula.
