Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual female Nysson spinosus (the Large-spurred Digger Wasp; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Crabronidae). The genome sequence is 314.6 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 26 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 20.22 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 10,008 protein coding genes.
