Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual male true bug, Aradus depressus (Arthropoda; Insecta; Hemiptera; Aradidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 697.70 megabases. Most of the assembly (98.69%) is scaffolded into 14 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 17.81 kilobases in length.
