Abstract

This paper deals with the future of thinking in the light of the increasing and widespread irruption of Artificial Intelligence. In this sense, it will investigate the ways in which this impact is realized and some potential long-term effects on the way of thinking, emphasizing the ethical dimensions involved. It will highlight the need for a refined and shared reflection in view of the human project to which AI and consequent AI design strategies should be oriented. Within this framework, it will show the responsibility and the peculiar competence of pedagogy in identifying some formative perspectives, deemed necessary to ensure the future of the best form of thinking. Il futuro del pensiero nell’era digitale. Il presente contributo affronta il tema del futuro del pensiero alla luce della crescente e capillare irruzione dell’Intelligenza Artificiale. In tal senso, indagherà le forme con cui tale impatto si realizza e alcuni potenziali effetti nel lungo periodo sul modo di pensare, sottolineando dimensioni etiche implicate. Evidenzierà la necessità di una riflessione raffinata e condivisa in vista del progetto umano al quale orientare l’IA e le conseguenti strategie di design dell’IA. Entro questa cornice, mostrerà la responsabilità e la peculiare competenza della pedagogia nell’individuare alcune prospettive formative, ritenute necessarie per assicurare il futuro della miglior forma di pensiero.
