Abstract
From second half of the 8 ffi century b.C., or9 century BC in calibrated dates, existed an important phoenician settlement in Sexi-Almunecar. The calibrated dates of the Th century B.C. seem to coincide with the historical chronology of the hieroglyphic names of several egyptian pharaohs carved in the calcite-alabaster cinerary urns: Osorkon II, Takelot II and Shoshenq III. These urns, probably containing wine, they could arrive to the Iberian Peninsula as diplomatic gifts
