Abstract
This article highlights the importance of formation intercultural competencies students of technical University. Describes the process of formation of intercultural competence. To increase the level of development of intercultural competence, the authors applied the method of projects in the framework of the course «Psychology». Method of projects aimed at improving the quality of training by developing students’ abilities to educate themselves and focused on the activation and realization of personal potential. Presents values and results of formation of intercultural competences. To determine the effectiveness of the project method with the purpose of formation of cultural competence was used research methods such as questionnaires, tests, observation, and analysis of results of operations. The results of the study may be of interest to teachers, post-graduate students interested in the development and implementation of a competence approach in the system of higher professional education.
