Abstract

The causes of the spatial variation in the hydrochemical indicators of groundwater in several oil fields in the Surgut arch of West Siberia are considered. On the basis of statistical processing of the database, including several thousand analyses of groundwater, histograms of the distribution of mineralization and concentrations of Ca2+ and HCO 3 − ions through the main pay horizons of the fields are constructed. The influence of deep (hydrothermal) water inflow on the formation of the chemical composition of the stratum waters of oil fields, which is exhibited by an increasing content of HCO 3 − ion with depth, is substantiated.
