Abstract We have reobserved a candidate Crab-like supernova remnant in M33, discovered in a high-resolution survey of compact radio sources (Reynolds and Fix 1987). Our VLA observations at 1465 and 4885 MHz show that it is simply the flat- spectrum core of a completely normal double-lobed radio galaxy. This eliminates the last candidate Crab-like object in M33 whose size and brightness at all resemble those of the Crab Nebula, and confirms the dearth of Crab-like supernova remnants reported earlier.
