Abstract
This work presents the first discovery of reworked palynomorphs in Cretaceous deposits of the Gulf of Suez, Egypt. Our examination of palynomorphs contained within the productive Raha Formation reveals a distinctive record of reworked palynomorphs of Late Palaeozoic age. As provenance indicators, these reworked palynomorphs could provide clues to the stratigraphic rock units exposed during the Cretaceous at the time of deposition of the Raha Formation.
