Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to answer a question posed by Marcel Ern´e in [1], namely “Is it provable inset theory without the axiom of choice that every compact Boolean algebra is finite?”. We answer thisquestion in the negative by constructing a Fraenkel-Mostowski model of Zermelo-Fraenkel set theorywith atoms (ZFU).
