Introduction

It feels both that things deteriorated in ways which were unexpectedly rapid, and that keeping UTS Review and Cultural Studies Review alive always required persistence. We continue to publish two high-quality open-access issues per year featuring excellent essays, new writing and, thanks to Lee Wallace’s work over the last few years, superb reviews.
