The Features and Trends of Equipment Operation and Inspection Management in Grid Enterprise

Abstract

The equipment operation and inspection management in grid enterprise is an important part of the Device Manager, especially in the current stage of rapid development of flexible AC and DC transmission technology, ultra-high voltage grid, smart grid and so on. The equipment operation and inspection management issues off the grid safe operation and reliability of power supply protection. Meanwhile, with the constantly enhance in Chinese electric power system reform and power supervision, the power grid enterprises need to further optimize asset management models and processes, reduce device management costs, improve asset management. In this paper, with the example of British Grid Corporation, Electricite de France, Australia and Vietnam Grid Corporation and other international advanced power grid enterprises in equipment operation and inspection management as best practices, grid business equipment operation and inspection management features and development trends are analyzes and judged. These features and trends provide useful lessons for China's power enterprises the implementation of scientific and effective equipment operation and inspection management.
