Abstract

The finite difference time domain (FDTD) method is used for the analysis of a square microstrip patch antenna with two microstrip feed lines. Circular polarization is obtained by feeding the lines on adjacent sides of the antenna with Gaussian pulses that are 90/spl deg/ out of phase. The tuning characteristics of the antenna using two feed lines on opposite sides are presented.
