Abstract
An automatic cyclic irradiation and analysis system has been developed for neutron activation analysis using short-lived nuclides. The system allows the choice of irradiation in the mixed neutron spectrum of the reactor or under cadmium for epithermal neutron activation. The apparatus is described together with a survey of recent applications of the system.
