Abstract
Objective To explore the design and application effect of facial support in face down sit with microcomputer embedded. Methods Twenty patients who needed to take the brow-down position after vitrectomy with intraocular tamponade were chosen as the research objects.The prone position or face down sit of the conventional methods and face down sit with the facial support in face down sit with microcomputer embedded were adopted.The evaluation for comfort and convenience of three kinds of methods were compared. Results The degree of comfort and convenience of the facial support in face down sit with microcomputer embedded were all better than that of the regular methods. Conclusions The application of facial support in face down sit with microcomputer embedded for patients undergoing vitrectomy with intraocular tamponade can improve the degree of comfort and convenience of patients in face down sit, which can help to improve the compliance of patients to perform the position of brow-down, and promote retinal reattachment.
