Abstract
Annotation Purpose. Substantiation of expediency of use of several power plants as a part of agricultural machine-tractor unit. Methods. Statistical analysis of the pricing policy of tractor manufacturers on the basis of literature sources. Analysis of the use of several power plants in existing traction vehicles. Analysis of decisions on the layout of running systems of agricultural technological modules for work as part of a machine-tractor unit. Results. Based on the analysis of energy systems that have several power sources with different characteristics, the feasibility of their implementation in multi-energy agricultural machinery and tractors is justified. Conclusions 1. Comparative analysis of world prices of agricultural tractors and engines for them, showed a significant difference in cost with increasing capacity. 2. The maximum quality of the technological operation performed by the agricultural machine is carried out at a given technological speed, which can be provided by propulsion systems driven by a cheap autonomous power plant through a matching reducer. 3. The introduction of the traction and energy concept of machine-tractor units will reduce their total cost, metal content, harmful effects on soil compaction and fuel consumption. Keywords: multi-energy machine-tractor units, power plants, engines, technological operations, engines.
