Recent analysis by The Guardian revealed the number of not-for-profit nurseries in England's most-deprived areas has fallen sharply, with experts warming this will mean poorer families will be “locked out” of a big expansion in free nursery hours. June O'Sullivan OBE, CEO of the London Early Years Foundation, responds to this and shares what could be done to reverse the situation.
