Abstract
Abstract Our earlier model for the excitonic theory for high temperature superconductivity in YBa2Cu3O7 has been extended to take into account the recent experimental finding that there may not be any Cu3+ ions in the compound. The extended model seems to be consistent with most of the experimental results.
