Abstract
For the first time, a thematic fragment of the diary of the Successor and Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich is published, covering the period of his stay in Denmark in the late autumn of 1899. The diary records demonstrate the calm and measured daily life characteristic of the Danish Royal Family during the reign of King Christian IX, the grandfather of the Grand Duke, and describe the peculiarities of the stay of representatives of the Russian Imperial House visiting Danish relatives. This text of the diary is given in accordance with the methodological recommendations adopted in Russia for the publication of archival document.
