Abstract
The paper highlights the main historical milestones of the formation of thedermatovenerology service in the Chernivtsi region (Northern Bukovina) and the role ofthe doctor of medical sciences, professor Grzhebin Zinoviy Naumovich, the head of theDepartment of Skin and Venereal Diseases of the Chernivtsi State Medical Institute in1947-1956, as the founder of the scientific dermatovenerology school in the region.
