Abstract
Metallurgical enterprises and other business entities whose activities have a direct or indirect impact on the components of the environment must comply with legal requirements in the field of environmental protection. Every year these requirements become more and more stringent, this is primarily due to the losses that the environment has already suffered and that will take a long time to recover.
Therefore, many companies, both metallurgical and other spheres of activity, are interested in reducing the amount of pollutants emitted. Improving the quality and level of equipment used leads not only to an increase in production, but also to a reduction in the harm to the environment. The aim of the study is to quantitatively examine the negative impact of production on the environment. The conclusions made will help to see the trends of enterprises in the field of environmental protection.
