Abstract

A study of the γ-ray transitions between levels of Dy 160 resulting from the decay of Tb 160 has been made using fast slow coincidence technique. The angular correlations. of six γ-ray cascades were measured. A decay scheme is suggested and assignments for the spins of excited levels and the multipolarities of the γ-radiations are made. The results support the suggestion that the 970 keV and 1050 keV levels should be interpreted as collective vibrational levels.
