Abstract

Abstract This report represents an analysis of new material from the fall 1971 and 1972 excavations of the Elliott site Woodland component (14GE312). Generally, the material from the recent excavations reaffirms the cultural (Schultz focus) and environmental relationships as postulated in the preliminary report. In addition, new insights are provided into the butchering techniques and cultural affiliations of 14GE312. Specifically, similarities in ceramics suggest links with the recently defined Butler phase of the El Dorado area to the south. Trans. Kans. Acad. Sci., Vol. 77 (3), 1974.
