Abstract
HeI and HeII photoelectron spectra (UPS) of the following compounds are reported and discussed: R 3Sn(S 2CNR′ 2) (R,R′ CH 3, C 2H 5) (trialkyltin N,N-dialkyldithiocarbamates), R 2Sn(S 2CNR′ 2) 2 (R CH 3, n-C 4H 9, R CH 3) (dialkyltin bis- N,N-dimethyldithiocarbamates), R 2PS 2R (R C 2H 5) (ethyldiethyldithiophosphinate), R 3Sn(S 2PR′ 2) (R, R′ CH 3) (trimethyltin dimethyldithiophosphinate), R 2Sn(S 2PR′ 2) 2 (R CH 3, n-C 4H 9, R′ C 2H 5) (dialkyltin bis-diethyldithiophosphinates). The assignments are made by comparison with UP spectra of related molecules and the results of CNDO/2 calculations. A scheme for the energy levels of the valence shells is proposed.
