Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy of sucralfate combined with famotidine for acute gastritis in patients.Methods 120 patients with acute gastritis who had visited our department of digestive diseases were divided into a study group and a control group.The study group received combination therapy with sucralfate and famotidine,whereas the control group received famotidine alone.The efficacy was compared between the two groups.Results The effectiveness rate was obviously higher in the study group than in the control group,with a statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusions Sucralfate combined with famotidine has an ideal efficacy in the treatment of acute gastritis and is more effective than famotidine alone.This combination therapy has a value for further clinical popularization and application.
