Abstract
본 연구는 서울지역 인증 사회적기업의 조직문화 요인이 사회적・경제적성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고 두 변수 사이에서 네트워크 활동의 매개 효과성을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이와 함께 일반 영리기업과 구분되는 사회적기업의 특징인 사회적성과의 영향을 알아보기 위해 사회적성과와 경제적성과 간의 경로를 추가하여 모형을 비교‧검증했다. 분석결과 첫째, 사회적기업의 통제문화는 사회적성과에 정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 네트워크 활동은 사회적・경제적성과에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적기업의 유연문화는 사회적성과에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 네트워크 활동은 사회적성과에만 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 네트워크 활동은 유연문화와 사회적기업성과에서 부분 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 유연한 문화의 조직일수록 타 조직과 네트워크 활동이 높고 이러한 기업은 사회적성과가 높아 경제적성과에도 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 사회적기업의 성과를 제고할 수 있는 제언을 논하였다.The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of culture factors of social enterprise in Seoul on their organization’s social performance and economic performance, and to investigate a mediating effect of network activity. In addition, to examine the impact of social performance, which is a characteristic of social enterprises distinguished from general companies, the model was compared and verified by adding a path between social performance and economic performance. Date were collected from 201 social enterprises in Seoul and response rate is 75.6%. Data were analyzed using SEM. The findings of the study are as follows. First, the control culture of social enterprises has a positive (+) influence on social performance, and network activity has a positive (+) influence on social and economic performance. Second, the flexible culture of social enterprises showed a positive (+) influence on social performance, whereas the network activity had a positive (+) influence on social performance only. Third, the network activity has a partial mediating effect on flexible culture and social enterprise performance. In addition, organizations with flexible culture have higher network activity with other organizations. These companies have high social performance and also shown positive effects on their economic performance. From these results, we have discussed how to improve the performance of social enterprises in terms of organizational management.
